I've used "traditional" paring knives for years but they are hard to come by. The other "flat" knife in this group is new to me but works well. The end of the knife is smooth and wider than the traditional one. The narrow end of the traditional pips, which is good for a stubborn core. I rarely use finger clippers, but they were almost "free" compared to buying other packs without them. I bought more because they are cheap plastic and can break. Now I've had enough of them and can afford to give a few away. Very good value for money. Of course you can peel an orange without them, but they are very convenient and work well.
