Review on 🚗 Husky Liners 58136: Custom Mud Guards for 2019-21 Ram 1500 with OEM Fender Flares (NOT TRX MODELS) - Front and Rear Set by Fred Vazquez

Love the front guards. The rear ones don't fit right. I contacted Husky and they said that the 2019 RAM (new model without fender flares) has some options that cause their guards to be misaligned. What surprises me is that they don't consider multiple options. I read a lot of reviews before buying and I don't remember anyone having the same problem so I believe there are most likely 2 options. (1) Start of production 2019 and (1) End of production 2019 - Fig. 1: Rear protection with adhesive penetrating the case cavity. Just hold the picture - Photo 2: Back instructions with pictures of clips with missing holes. Problem #1 (front). The adhesive does not fully contact the inner liner. Almost 2/3 of the glue come into contact. The rest falls into the hollow space in the sleeve. No big deal, the clip and screw were provided by Husky. This is a simple modification. I recommend doing this instead of just relying on glue. In my opinion, they should never have said that no installation is required. I can't believe you won't have problems with just glue in the future. these are my feelings Problem #2 (rear). The adhesive area and starter screw hole penetrate the cavity of the liner where 100% of the adhesive is not in contact with the liner. The glue is under the pre-marked hole on the liner as shown in the attached picture. The screw is not long enough when you try to put it where the hole mark is. The clips they sent don't even have holes. Not sure how it passes quality control. I have so many projects in my life that it would be nice if the husky would appreciate my time a little. Do me a favor by at least answering my call or email and just saying some tools/assembly is required. I would have given the material a 4, but customer service and engineers just downgraded the rating to 3 stars. Now I make my own screw and back mount combo and drill to the left where the liner meets flush. Thanks to Husky for the tool-free installation.
