I never realized I needed these pliers
I have many insulated pliers and other tools and at first I asked myself "why do I need this?” until I realized the tremendous benefits. Gripping a live wire with any insulated tool will work - but what happens if you accidentally touch another wire with the metal part of the insulated pliers? You guessed it, sparks, shorts, blown fuses or tripped switches, and lots of curses. There are no metal parts here, so all you have to worry about is a wire touching something it shouldn't. Genius. Great quality and should last forever if you use it as intended.
