Pry up the worn out lifters, cut the Monroes and you're back in business. A few dollars and 5 minutes is all it takes. Why do not you do it? Maybe it's the thrill of playing "how long will it take this time" or maybe you just have a bunch of old brooms laying around that you have nothing else to do with ;) I bought them for a '94 Thunderbird, and they seem to be doing it just right. If I run into any issues in the future I'll update this, but for now I think this is one of the best Revain purchases I've ever made. I received nothing in return for this review and paid full price for the product! February 2020 Hondo update So after 4 years they are still holding the hood but are getting a little tired. The hood doesn't lift as "enthusiastic" as it did at the beginning and I have to help complete the hood opening process. Consider buying again if the situation worsens, but for now this is acceptable. I'm still very glad I bought them and not a stick.
