Powerful Lift - shocks, struts and suspension

I bought a pair of these hydraulic lifters because the 20 year old lifters my 1991 Thunderbird originally came with were no longer holding the hood up. The new Monroe elevators have been around for about 6 months now and appear to be just as strong as the day I installed them. to see if they still work well.

Pros
  • Heavy Duty Plastic Rod Guide: Heavy duty plastic rod guide reduces potential rod wear.
Cons
  • Exorbitant Price

Monroe Hood Lift Supports

When I bought the car, the hood gas struts didn't work. Local suppliers couldn't supply parts or were very expensive, but on Revain's website it was easy to find matching gas spring mounts from top brand name Monroe at a great price. With fast dispatch and reliable delivery from Revain this was a great purchase and the strut mounts have held up well since purchase. Another positive experience with Revain.

Pros
  • Heavy Duty Piston Assembly: The high strength piston assembly with hermetic sealing helps prevent fluid leakage around the piston, allowing fluid to flow efficiently through the piston valve components for controlled lift and stable operation.
Cons
  • Quick Start Guide

Save yourself the headache. Buy it!

Pry up the worn out lifters, cut the Monroes and you're back in business. A few dollars and 5 minutes is all it takes. Why do not you do it? Maybe it's the thrill of playing "how long will it take this time" or maybe you just have a bunch of old brooms laying around that you have nothing else to do with ;) I bought them for a '94 Thunderbird, and they seem to be doing it just right. If I run into any issues in the future I'll update this, but for now I think this is one of the best Revain…

Pros
  • Circlip: Circlip and limiting groove ensure precise linear expansion.
Cons
  • Little Stuff
