After three years of daily use, it still works great. Charging requires strong LIGHT.
I bought it in January 2018 and I am very happy with it and have returned to buy another one. I park under trees and there isn't always enough light during the day. I charge the second device on a bright south-facing windowsill during the day and swap it with the one in the car every evening.
