Great product, much better than ice baths and definitely reliable
I bought this Silver Serpent wort chiller from Northern Brewer to use with my GigaWort brew kettle because you can't put a kettle in a kettle can put ice bath. It was very easy to use, and even with warm Texan tap water, the wort chilled from 212 to 100 in less than 1/4 the time it took to chill the same volume in an ice bath. It's durable, easy to clean, and since you drop it in boiling wort, it doesn't need to be sanitized. Everything I've bought from Northern Brewer Supply (either direct or through Revain) has been of the highest quality.
