Review on Trans Dapt 44061 Engine Swap Kit by Yuri Rochelin

I bought this kit to replace my V8 in a 99 Blazer. It clearly states that this will work on my application. However, after the fit test, which happens with the exception of the oil pan. The dipstick is on the wrong side. I have a 79 GM block so it must be the right kit and the description says it will fit so I started building and saw that the dipstick tube was on the driver's side not the passenger side. I asked if there would be any issues with the exchange and all was going well until I saw they would send me the same set again which doesn't help me. Why would I want the same thing again. The kit works except for one problem. A simple pan change will do, but they won't do it. Refunding is all they can or will do and that's not going to help either. They offer a pot that is needed separately but do not do exchanges. Do not attempt to contact Trans Dapt. They couldn't help.
