World Art Standard - Professional Drawing Paper

I've been using this drawing paper since college. I studied painting and printmaking at an excellent art school and that's what a lot of art professors recommend for painting and even learning things like screen printing. And it's good for portraits. I've been using it for several decades now. I haven't sold anything serious on any other paper in many years. Buyers like to know that it's thick and won't wrinkle or crease with normal handling, and that it's acid-free and archival quality so it'll last a long time. You can rub off quite a bit and it holds up well. It's not loose, flimsy paper. It is smooth, quite hard and resilient, unlike paper, which begins to deteriorate and even perforate if the same spot is erased four or five times. That never happened. It's smooth, thick and compact. It still has enough "tooth" to pick up the pen quite well. When I sit down to a clean slate, I feel like I'm starting over with professional quality. I have included two pictures of the drawings made on it so you can see how much detail you can get. I use this for pencil and their mixed tinted paper for a watercolor, charcoal, pastel and pencil combo. These toned papers save time by giving you the mid tones you'll probably be creating anyway, they create a nice atmosphere, but this white paper gives you such clear brightness when you need it. I wasn't sure what paper to use for the project I wanted to make, so I wrote to the company and explained it to them and asked if I could try some patterns. They were friendly and sent me some free sample papers that they thought might fit. If you're not sure, check their website and email to see if they can help you figure something out. For your health! to see if they can help you figure something out. For your health! to see if they can help you figure something out.
