Very good processor for the money. I took it to replace the 3950x. The 5950x doesn't outperform the 3950x much, but there's definitely progress. I am satisfied with the purchase. Has some pros: A very strong processor in the consumer segment. - Bought for the assembly of large projects with a huge amount of code, he solves this problem very quickly due to his 32 threads. - Single-threaded load is also not a problem for him. With a load of 1-4 threads, it raises the frequency of loaded cores to ~ 5.1 GHz and copes with tasks quite quickly. - On a multi-threaded load, the frequency of all cores is on average lower, but still remains at a fairly high level, approximately 4.4-4.5 GHz. The main thing is that the temperature is normal. With its cons: It is difficult to attribute this to shortcomings, I write more in order to pay attention. He has horse heating, when the load goes to 1-4 flows - PBO starts to raise the voltage and frequency (the same ~ 5.1 GHz). The cooling system must be able to remove all the heat, otherwise the processor will not be able to work at the maximum capabilities laid down by the manufacturer.
