Review on 🔧 Derale-13010 TRANS PAN DRAIN PLG: Efficient Silver Transmission Pan Plug by Desmin Dickerson

I've been wanting to add a temperature sensor to my 700R4 for a long time and figured this drain kit would kill two birds with one stone. In fact, compared to other kits I've tested with the exact same dimensions, this one allows the temp gauge to go all the way through; others have a reduced neck internally, requiring a short probe. Note that the drain plug is not a pipe screw as shown in the picture, but a small set screw that requires a hex wrench. The advantage is that it is flush with the mounting screw. I would recommend welding or soldering this kit after installation, they all use a plastic washer which will eventually leak.
