As I've gotten older and used many tools over the years, I've found that better quality tools work better and last longer. For me, investing in a better tool costs LESS than a cheaper tool. Standard needle nose pliers are the tool of choice for most of us. This is my first Knipex tool and it won't be my last. As other reviews have said, it's solid, well designed, well made and works well. I've only been using this tool for a short time, but it clearly outperforms the competition. I have good needle nose pliers from Craftsman, Klein and Channel Lock but this one is much better. And not just gradually getting better - I would say this tool is twice as good. So is it worth $32 with free shipping - YES! When you pick up these pliers and squeeze your first wire, you'll go "Ohhh". Feel free to buy this tool. You will not be disappointed. I will say that because Knipex offers so many pliers, it is very difficult to choose. I contacted Knipex's Chicago office in the US to get a part number for what they called "standard pliers" and the gentleman I spoke to (who was quite rude on the phone) ended up emailing me that Knipex does not suggest any tools. Information for Knipex in the US and for those shopping: 2612200 is a standard needle nose pliers. My experience with Knipex US does not prevent me from giving it five stars.
