Get one of these, avoid Z-Wave lockdowns like Covid.

Easy to program, installation is no different than traditional kwikset lock sets. Much cheaper than kwikset lock sets with Z-Wave "connectivity" but that makes it worthwhile compared to their Z-Wave devices as they are hard bugs. Just browse through the reviews and believe the bad ones. I wish I could, I thought they were written by techies. I was very wrong. It actually gives me better remote lock status reports than kwickset or schlage Z-Wave locks: none. The fancy 3x expensive Z-Wave locks never reported the correct status for longer than the first 5 minutes. All other nearer and farther Z-Wave devices continued to function normally.
