Get one of these, avoid Z-Wave lockdowns like Covid.

Easy to program, installation is no different than traditional kwikset lock sets. Much cheaper than kwikset lock sets with Z-Wave "connectivity" but that makes it worthwhile compared to their Z-Wave devices as they are hard bugs. Just browse through the reviews and believe the bad ones. I wish I could, I thought they were written by techies. I was very wrong. It actually gives me better remote lock status reports than kwickset or schlage Z-Wave locks: none. The fancy 3x expensive Z-Wave locks…

Checks Every Box Best Door Hardware and Locks

This is the perfect all-in-one electronic door handle. I was concerned that the all-in-one would be very bulky, but this is the perfect size. I love that it can be installed in any direction, it can be changed with very simple steps and you can choose if you want the battery compartment to be locked. The auto lock feature is perfect for my needs as I always want it locked. No more checking before bed to make sure the kids haven't left the door unlocked. The stylus is in a dark place and easy to

Installed on interior door

My husband and I installed this on the door of his husband's den (that's the bedroom in our house). It has a lot of guns, knives, and things that kids shouldn't have access to, so we decided to buy it for a number of reasons. The main reason is that setting it up this way will automatically block it. This way we won't accidentally leave it unlocked. Secondly, we don't always have keys with us, so using the code is much more convenient! It was very easy to set up. We followed the instructions…

It really works! Much better than the Deadbolt

I used to use the Kwikset Deadbolt for the keyboard. The thing was junk! It would randomly lock me up once a month, sometimes the bolt motor would just spin for an hour for no reason until the battery died, sometimes the keyboard would stop working and then start working again a day or two later. So I kicked it out after 3 months of torment. And he started looking for an alternative to the bar. I found this model, also from Kwikset, and decided to give it a try. This model really works! The…

Great replacement for the Kwikset 5 button lock

We have had a Kwikset 5 button lock on our door for a number of years. Entering the code was easy (you can type in all the numbers with your thumb pretty quickly while keeping your hand on the stylus), but the mechanism was terrible. Sometimes it unlocked instantly, sometimes it took 5 cycles or it didn't unlock at all. It also automatically locks every time unless you unscrew the cover and flip the microswitch on the back, then it always stays unlocked unless you press the lock button. And the

Missing screw NOT missing

This is not so much a review as a help to others as I have not seen anyone in a review or Q&A that answered this question clearly. Many leave bad reviews about this because the screw that holds the inside handle is missing. I spent a decent amount of time looking for that missing screw. As I searched the bags and the box, all I knew was that this thing came out, but it wasn't there. After getting excited I decided to go to the product page and check for others with the same issue. I've seen one
