I recently bought one of these bells hoping my gray parrot would like it. These bells are expensive at the pet store, but this one was a little cheaper (mainly to see if he likes it). If you're familiar with grays, you know they can be quite picky about changes! Unfortunately he was scared of it BUT my sun conure loves him! This is a good solid bell with a nice sound (like a wind chime). It doesn't sound like Christmas bells (like most other bells) which is a nice change of pace for me and my ears. Also, since the bell is shaped more like a cylinder, I don't have to worry about Dizz sticking his beak in there to destroy the ginger (and I don't have to worry about her getting hurt). The chain and connector are also very strong, so you don't have to worry about the chain breaking. It also looks like she can't really film this one as she's very good at it! She doesn't "attack" him like other bells, but instead taps him with her beak and listens to him, then taps him again after he has stopped. In short, this is a very durable bell that I can use in my kennel for a long time. Thank you Harry and Bwogue Parrot Toys!
