I am writing this review of the GLISTO Automotive Windshield Repair Kit, a chip and crack auto glass repair kit that I recently purchased. On a recent drive we had a rock chip and a pretty deep dent formed on the windshield of our car. Unfortunately it's right in the field of view and I was looking for a kit that would eliminate that distraction and stop the crack from spreading any further. We received the kit quickly via Revain and fixed the chip. The instructions aren't that detailed, but the pictures will definitely help with this. For example, there is a threaded barrel that needs to be removed before you can apply resin to the crack, but the instructions don't mention the barrel. My wife and I filled in the crack as instructed. The resin didn't fully penetrate the crack with the supplied syringe and mount. part of it is still visible, but the crack is probably 75% less visible. We've made three different attempts to fill the chip and I may do some more work with it to see if I can remove it completely. Overall, I'm not entirely happy with the product, but I can see how it can work well. in certain applications. I will try to repair with the same kit in the future.
