Why the scanner has rubber bumpers on the sides and a bag-cover in the kit - I did not understand, it is not supposed to be carried with you. Silverfast is an extremely inconvenient software. It was not possible to understand its modes and settings from the first run, you will have to study the manual. Unfortunately, it is impossible to do without it - Photoshop does not see the scanner through Twain.
