Review on DEWALT 608116-00SV 3/8-Inch Anvil Assembly by Justin Cage

So far so good. I used this new anvil to convert a DCF887 1/4" punch to a 3/8" punch. The process is extremely easy with few tools and about 15 minutes. There are simple video tutorials out there, but they mostly involve removing the case screws, removing the nose cone from the motor, removing the 1/4" ring from the front of the fairing (there are a few stubborn snap rings), and relubricating the new anvil with some molybdenum grease and final assembly. Don't lose the speed control detent when splitting the fuselage if your shock has this feature. Of course, this will void your warranty, but it seems like a worthy conversion to me.
