Dorman "Help!" #41068 Universal Tire Holder Well made, fits a wide range of wheel sizes and is just right for holding the spare tire so it doesn't look like a bunch of pig jaws are dangling inside the back! The plated steel hook bar is long enough to fit the widest car wheels. To get the correct length, after initial installation I shortened the stem 3 inches to give it a sleek custom look. You can measure your application and trim the rod to fit. Removing excess length makes the installation cleaner and saves a lot of time when changing tires. Not to mention the swearing and gnashing of teeth ;>) The pressure plate is enamelled gloss black and the TurnBar is heavy gauge steel with a cadmium coating to resist rust. NOTE: The cad plated steel swivel is a really nice feature - the factory swivel is plastic and if it breaks it's a real pain to get the replacement part out! The new TurnBar doesn't break and is worth all the scrap! My order arrived quickly and in perfect condition. Thank you Rewin!
