I first bought a few bottles of zMud when it first came out. So far I've only used it with the original (OG) Anycubic Photon. After running Photonster's Resin Exposure Finder v2 and the XPS Check Matrix, I found that the best exposure time on my printer for a 0.05mm layer is 14.25 seconds. This is a slightly slower cure time than Siraya Tech Blu but much less brittle than Blu. The detailing seems comparable to Siraya Fast Grey. What I really like about this resin is how easy it is to clean with 91% isopropyl alcohol and how little tack the cleaned surface has before curing. Dimensional stability appears to be very good with minimal swelling; I limited the exposure time in Anycubic Cure and Wash V1 to 10-12 minutes. I was able to screw in the bogie and coupler bolts on my model train car with no cracks or other issues. I have yet to drill mounting holes for the hand grips, but based on my experience with hitches and carts I don't expect any problems. If you look closely at the attached photos, please note that for my purposes I printed this model parallel to the build plate, which allows for maximum model peel force during printing. Minimal z-jitter and layer offset has more to do with the printer, print orientation, and the need for additional supports on the model than with resin. The tan zMud should help minimize the amount of red mineral oxide paint needed to finish the model. For reference, this model measures approximately 84 x 28 x 28mm. One issue I've had to come to terms with is that zMud seems to hold air bubbles longer than other resins I've worked with before. This means I let the mixed resin sit for 10-15 minutes before I start printing to allow the bubbles to float to the surface. I am deducting a star because it is slightly more expensive than similar quality resins from other manufacturers.
