Up until last week I hadn't washed my car in years, even decades, but I decided I would with my new car. I would like to take care of the painting as gently as possible and also save some money. Because handwashing a car was a job I hadn't personally done in decades, I had no experience drying microfiber towels. When I think of microfiber I think of polyester which isn't very absorbent. But those towels - wow! - They are thick and absorbent, absorbing so much water despite their small size. They are also very soft and protect the car paint. I like their small size because they are easy to handle. As I wiped the water-soaked car with a towel, I couldn't believe how heavy the towels had become from the water soaking into them. I think I could dry the whole car with those four little towels. Instead of using all four to dry, I dried two of them, wringing them out when they got wet, then returning them to dry again. They were very gentle and left my car dry and shiny with no scratches. When my car was dry, I still had two clean, dry cloths to apply the ceramic detailing spray on, and these cloths were perfect for this hardware and polishing job. When my job was done, I tossed them in the washing machine and dried them, and they came out thick, soft, and fluffy, ready for next time. I am extremely pleased with how gentle and super absorbent these towels are and how shiny, shiny and clean my car has become. I definitely recommend them! They are very useful and will pay for themselves in just a few washes considering how much it costs to pay someone else (or a car) to wash your car for you. You could probably find other uses for them around the house besides drying your car.
