Review on ๐Ÿง„ Chef'n GarlicZoom XL Garlic Chopper - Vibrant Green by Kate Moon

Revainrating 5 out of 5

All of this is strong and well made

I have a small that may not fit a large piece. It's also a bit difficult to start chopping because the large garlic stops the blade. Get a bigger one or cut the garlic in half. But I prefer small. With the big ones, I just need more momentum to get the first cuts done. The mechanism works well. I used the wheel on an uneven tiled surface. The wheels hold the tiles well except when the tiles are slightly wet. You can turn the wheels in the palm of your hand, but the large garlic blocks the small chopper first, making it difficult to start. I have a 1 to 2 foot runway to get initial cuts. All are solid and well made. First I use a lot of momentum to start the wheels and then to get thinner cuts in a short amount of time. I also frequently tap this item to bring the garlic chunks back to the center of the blades. Tips: I open the top lid, turn the item upside down, and gently rotate the wheels to push the garlic directly onto the food or pan. And then put it in the fridge until next time. Some people say garlic is an antibiotic, and I found out that it's actually used as a food preservative. So I don't wash my chopper, at least not every time. Together with the Rock and Roll Garlic Peeler, garlic consumption is increased. I hate the garlic press.
