Crocheted a king size blanket in late December. And I started without adding any dark taupe, but I quickly got tired of it and wanted something more colorful. And, oh my god, this color turned out more than I expected! It's soft, absolutely beautiful against the lighter tones and seems to make those lighter tones stand out that much more, so I decided to frame the entire comforter in dark taupe and was so smitten that I ended up ending up with the king. instead of size! The thickness and heaviness of this yarn from a company gave me the warmth, beauty and heaviness of a homemade blanket, which is what I wanted. Also fewer blankets for spring/summer. It exceeded my highest expectations for the beauty it brought to my quilt. I am addicted! (No pun intended)!
