Need to replace the rear brake discs on my 2012 VW TDI sports car. I'm not sure who tightens these disc brake carrier bolts at the factory, but I've never worked so hard to remove two bolts from each side. On one occasion I used a floor jacket and a 3/8" pry bar to loosen one of those bolts so they were really tight from the factory. What's really amazing is how well done these tips are. Despite the effort that went into it, the floor jack bit did the trick. Each bit is machined with hex sides, but I don't know what metric size it is - none of my 1/2" sockets were the right size. I'm glad I ordered this kit before working on the brakes as without them it would have been impossible.
