This scooter is great for my commute! I'm able to get a few back and forth trips on one charge, and the speed and head/break lights make it a safe trip. My only complaint is that you can feel every bump and crack in the pavement. Since I have to take it down some brick sidewalks, it can get fairly uncomfortable - though it can be ignored.I'm usually able to get to a comfortable 13 mph (it could go faster, but I'm a bit over careful by the road). Cruise control automatically comes on after maintaining speed for a certain amount of time but goes off by pumping the accelerator after it beeps on. The electric break also turns it back off, and is great for bring the scooter to a smooth stop (and the hand break is an excellent back up). It is a bit heavy and awkward to pick up to store or get over the curb, but that's to be expected.Hope this helps!
