Battery limits usability

We have nine children and a seven bedroom house all with hardwood floors including kitchen (prior choice of owner here). The only exception is the large glass-tiled foyer. Cleaning such floors is an endless and time-consuming task. We usually clean by level as some of the bedrooms are on the third floor. To vacuum and then steam mop each level, it usually takes about an hour for the first and second floors and 30 minutes for the third floor. I was really hoping it would shorten that time. I'm disappointed with it to be honest, but I think maybe my expectations were too high. I love the wireless aspect. Our house is old, the sockets are few and far between, some of them are connected to the old mains and do not work with the vacuum cleaner. Also, with many children, we literally have to go through the process of "vacuuming, then mopping” everywhere from daily (kitchen and dining room) to a few times a week (playroom, living room, bathroom) and once every few weeks (bedroom). I really wanted this to be a time-saving solution. The device is really well made. Our last house had a carpet cleaner and it has lasted for many years with very frequent use. I have no doubt it won't be long. It is quick and easy to assemble and you can be up and running in just 15 minutes including reading the instructions. I started in the kitchen to really try it. Cleaning with him is pretty gross. There is no sugar coating. Firstly, this is not a vacuum cleaner, and secondly, installing a mop. This is a vacuum cleaner and a mop at the same time. This works fantastically well for cereal waking up situations, but it's different for dry cereal with crumbs. Yes, he sucks up large pieces, but with difficulty. This is not a dry vacuum cleaner. The way to do this is to use a spray to wet and soften whatever is in there and soak up/wipe it up. It would be nice if the entire floor needed to be cleaned, but sometimes that doesn't happen and you can't just use the vacuum alone. The big problem is the battery. I figured I could do the floors on the same level of the house before charging again. It's more like a big room or two small than charging for hours. No Saturday house cleaning with it unless you live in a small apartment. It takes 6-7 charges to clean our entire house depending on how dirty each room is. Sure, we live in a larger than average house, but even if we lived in a typical single family home, it would still require at least 3-4 charges. The water tanks aren't very large either, so expect to fill them up twice for a large room, although one tank will do for a smaller room. Another problem is that this product cannot be used quickly. This isn't a cordless vacuum that you can just pick up and quickly clean up the mess and then put back in the closet. After you finish cleaning the floor, you need to clean the roller, pipes and tank, even if it was just a small leak. If not, it stinks. In fact, it smells very good. One of my kids put it away like that without knowing it and I took it out a few days later and found mold growing inside. There are a few different ways to clean it, but I've found the easiest way to just throw some clean water on the floor with a non-sudsing detergent and vacuum it up after I've emptied the dirty water tank. I make sure to roller it through and I do that as soon as I'm done cleaning so nothing dries out. Overall I think this is a product that has it all. This would be good for someone who needs to tidy up a small space or just wants to use it in their kitchen and dining room, which I think I will do with mine. The battery is a big limiter and parts from the vacuum cleaner website are expensive.
