This is the second product I've bought to convert the Wii's component outputs to HDMI as my receiver didn't switch the component outputs (and I only ran 1 HDMI cable from the switching receiver through the wall to mine on of the wall-mounted television ). This one works! (compared to my last Geffen device). My only minor complaint is that the audio input is a headphone jack, not RCA. The component cable you get for the Wii has RCA connectors for audio, so you'll need to use an RCA-to-3.5mm adapter with the device - looks like Startech might add that. But these adapters are cheap, so I didn't give a rating based on that.
