Review on πŸ’“ Mio Slice Heart-Rate-Monitors: Sienna, Small - Enhance Fitness Monitoring with Precision by Debbie Williams

Less than expected and promised

I really wanted to love this fitness tracker and waited over a year for Mio to release it. I've been looking for the idea of combining multiple inputs, not just steps, and Slice seems to fit that niche. Not as much. Mio gives you an attainable score of 100 for the week and all activities supposedly count towards that goal. Go past 100 and you're doing great. Less than 100. Well, you get the point. Like other trackers, Slice tracks your points as your hand swings; but 1 hour of weightlifting only got me 1 point and 75 minutes of racquetball only got me 3? The same applies to the recumbent bike, the elliptical treadmill, the stair climber. All receive almost nothing if your hand is not in play. Not unlike Fitbit HR. Slice adjusts to the wrist with two buttons that wear out quickly (I bought the bracelet the first week of January 2017). Last week it came loose and fell on the floor several times, this morning it fell unnoticed and now it's gone. I bought a two year replacement policy which of course doesn't cover loss or theft (or crappy buckle systems). So disappointed.
