Review on Circuit Performance Black Aluminum Valve by Saradhi Suter

This review is about the quality and design of the product, not the bag being shorted out by a computer controlled machine loading small aluminum valve caps into a small plastic bag. I sympathize with the person who was short circuited but this is not life changing and shouldn't be here. There is room for this in packaging and shipping. At first glance I would swear they are too small to use in a car. They fit perfectly. Yes they are short but for the purpose. In the past I've had a long or regular length cap (with an o-ring) that seemed to fit. A month later I checked the air pressure. I found some moisture in the cap and valve stem. Obviously the cap doesn't go all the way down and the o-ring doesn't fit the top of the valve stem and allows moisture in. Luckily I live 300 miles from the coast otherwise I might get some corrosion. Nowhere suitable for a tire valve. This cap is short, allowing full seating of the o-ring but leaving several rows of threads exposed. If corrosion is an issue for you, then perhaps look elsewhere. A quick squirt of silicone grease or WD40 after cutting might work though. It is not. Cheap plastic caps but sharpened aluminum caps with o-rings. Seems to be working fine.
