My house is getting a 100 psi pressure which is making my water filter make crazy noises. The filter has a maximum inlet pressure of 80psi. Installing this controller took only 30 seconds. I just turned off the water, blew out the filter, cut off the inlet pipe and turned on that regulator. When the water was turned back on, the pressure was 70psi according to the onboard gauge and has remained stable since my installation.
