Hi folks, I have a 2001 Cummins Ram 2500 5.9 with an automatic transmission. There were problems turning on and off the overdrive at a speed of 45-50 km / h. It was so annoying and bad for my trance. I tried replacing the throttle position sensor which cost $300. It didn't work so I sent it back. Then they told me in some workshop that it could be the shift magnet in the transmission. Now any other of these problems would be very nice. But I bought this and installed it in less than 20 minutes and boom! The problem has been solved. The truck shifts perfectly, nothing wrong. My suggestion would be to buy these first so you don't spend more money in the long run. Hope that helps.
