I wanted some locks for my Pelican case and they were recommended. Contrary to what some people think, you should not use TSA locks when traveling by air as you should be the only one with access to your gun. I learned this by watching a few YouTube videos from a guy who really knows his stuff (wish I could remember his name because I'd love to go back and watch more of his videos!). I don't travel by plane very often and I don't know if I take my gun, but I wanted to have what I need just in case. and I intend to lock my suitcase at home from time to time (and you should lock it when taking it to the shooting range, or at least the one I've been to). Either way (no pun intended), these little locks fit perfectly. Some people looking at them said they had trouble with the keys, I didn't. And I've tried every lock with every key. I keep one key on my keychain and one on my bedside table. I won't be taking my suitcase outside so rust doesn't bother me. I have a feeling these locks will last and you can't beat the price.
