I bought 3 playing card style boxes to decorate as gifts for friends. The quality is ok. The advantage of these boxes is that they are great for burning wood after sanding. There is very minimal grit and a fairly even finish. It is good that they are made of linden and not pine. Most craft boxes you'll find (at a lower price) are made out of pine, which doesn't lend itself well to burning wood. Unfortunately 1 of 3 boxes I bought was missing the center piece that divides the box into 2 compartments. The hardware on these boxes is not removable, making sanding and painting a bit more of a hassle.
