Review on ๐Ÿ–จ๏ธ HATCHBOX ABS 3D Printer Filament: Enhancing Additive Manufacturing Products and Supplies for 3D Printing by Randy Bin

I really want this thread to be liked.

I really like this filament as it looks like the highest quality filament I have ever used. I've only used Material Hacks and Esun Filament and Lulzbot Village Plastic is on the way. But I am of all 3 of those brands, this reel had an insane amount of moisture and air right out of the box. It pops up more than others I've used. Maybe it's just that role, but I'm a bit disappointed so far. EDIT: I am completely disappointed in this thread after my first 9 hour print. I don't even know if it's ABS or not. The detail is extremely fragile compared to other ABS prints I've made, and despite being 100% solid infill, the sound seems empty. Part of the piece stuck completely to the frame and broke the seal. I know it's not because of my printer settings as I've never had such a filament failure in the 10+ rolls I've run through.

Pros
  • Additive Manufacturing Products
Cons
  • So far so good
