"Snap-on " is a total misnomer - drilling is still required
There are no instructions on the internet for installing this type of vinyl siding bracket and after spending an hour and a half trying to find it I am now in. Totally confident that this clip on tongue of ring is done. The improvement to this product is that you don't cut a massive fastener-sized hole in the fairing, but you still drill holes to screw in your fasteners if they aren't already there. Ultimately, I'd rather use it than not, but I'm honestly pissed at the intentionally misleading language.
