Seems strong enough, the black nylon washers are not of the highest quality but once tightened they slide fairly easily. I can't say how long this takes, but it depends on how often you lock and open the door. I would say 304 stainless steel is a pretty good quality for Chinese steel. I pierced part of it to make the movement a bit better for the gap I have between the door and the frame. I mount this lock on the edge of the door frame, if you're looking for a frame lock test center this one won't really work as it can't go the distance.
