🔒 Enhance Privacy with Skysen Black Sliding Hardware Review

Not fitted yet but looks very good and well thought out. The finish of the product is important, no jagged edges, they are smooth and the washers should give it stability without "loosening" during use. It shouldn't be hard, pretty easy to install. It is NOT oversized and is the same size as other "medium" sizes. I don't see anyone who needs more for what they do.

I recently installed a Skysen barn door latch. It works well and is easy to install. I gave it three stars because the screws that came with it didn't match the finish of the stainless steel latch. Also, the screws were too long (1 1/4 inches) and slightly over tightened in the locking holes. A 1/2" to 9/16" screw should probably do the trick. I plan to get replacement bolts once I get to Lowes. Ray R., Texas.

Seems strong enough, the black nylon washers are not of the highest quality but once tightened they slide fairly easily. I can't say how long this takes, but it depends on how often you lock and open the door. I would say 304 stainless steel is a pretty good quality for Chinese steel. I pierced part of it to make the movement a bit better for the gap I have between the door and the frame. I mount this lock on the edge of the door frame, if you're looking for a frame lock test center this one…
