I am a DIY auto repair shop so I did a lot of research to find a burnisher/buffer that I could afford and that had recommended features. This polisher was in my price range, it has a detachable D-handle and screw-on handle, double action and very good reviews from Revain. I bought an extra 6" sanding/buffing pads and rode my vintage car into town. This polisher is big and heavy, and the speed dial is in a position where it's almost impossible to accidentally change the speed setting. When it When it came time to buff the magnet discs, the 6" buffing wheels were too big, so I bought a set of 3" buffing bases that could hold the 3" buffing wheels. I just unscrewed the 6" base and the 3" is screwed on. I made the right choice with the purchase of this device.
