You really have to find the product that fits your needs, not too big, not too small, just soft enough, etc. This one does the trick for me- size 8 wide shoes, with a bony great toe, and one overlapping toe on the other foot. These are soft enough for comfort, but thick enough to do the job. Yeah they wear out but socks do too! It's so worth it to have a supply of these- if you find the product that fits your need, it's a real game changer!
