Review on Gates 38108 Automotive Accessories by Chris Chincuanco

It looked and felt like the original it replaced on my 1990 Chevy K2500 350 and it installed in about 10 minutes. I thought my belts were going to snap because of the idler pulley, but this particular assembly had a bad bearing that would seize up from time to time and cause the belt to overheat. I could have paid less for a Dorman unit, but at around $33 it was a good buy. I have been very happy with Gates products and this is no exception and it was delivered so I didn't have to put the old parts back on to drive the 40 miles to the nearest parts store.
