I had really low expectations for this item but it had really good reviews and I was sick of grating cheese with an old school flat grater (bad carpal tunnel) or food processor (seriously too). lots to take away, just a piece of grated cheese.) This little bad boy is AMAZING! I place the grater (sometimes on top of the container, sometimes straight up if I want to use it right away) on a flexible cutting board (because even with it attached to the container, cheese will still stick to the countertop). Use the flexible chopping board to pick up the trash) and BOOM! So easy! (Also, to make chopping some cheeses easier like Monterrey Jack, Colby Jack, etc., throw them in the freezer for a few minutes. With a dish brush and some Dawn, cleaning up is an easy task. GREAT product!
