Review on Flexzilla Retractable Enclosed Lightweight ZillaGreen by David Bartan

This item was bought as a Christmas present (NOVEMBER 2019) and installed in my garage in spring 2020. The extension function of these works as described. However, the unit is losing air at a ridiculous rate, forcing me to disconnect it from my Craftsman 30-gallon compressor at the end of completion. I had to add quick couplers to the plastic threaded ends of the hose. (Yes I used teflon tape and yes I confirmed *my* fittings were not the source of the air leak). The air leak occurs inside the device (probably where the stationary component connects to the rotating part inside the hose body). The air leak is fairly obvious (noisy) losing 5psi every 5 minutes even with no tool attached. Whilst it was EASY to install and remove the hose reel as instructed, the air loss at this speed makes the unit of little use. If I installed it within the return period I would REMOVE it and return it for a full refund. I would NOT buy this product again. Very disappointed.
