Flexzilla Retractable Enclosed Lightweight ZillaGreen Review

I can't believe this is a pain in the ass. Every time I try to put it back on I get in trouble, I have to spend five minutes putting the hose back on. I've never had problems like this with a hose reel, even the cheap ones from Habor Freight. It would be easier and cheaper to just take the hose and roll it up every time I use it. This does not save time and is a waste of money.

If you buy something like this, you will find it easy to install. It's holding up well so far and I've had it for about a month now. The end where you screw in the air fittings looks like it's made out of plastic. I'm tired of this, but if something happens you can always put a new metal fitting on the hose. I have had other brands of air hose reel before and this one seems much better. I will find a suitable extension cable drum as soon as possible.

Spool received and packaged very nicely. Lots of comments about hose retraction. In my block there were no problems. For fittings, note that the unit is shipped with two (2) 1/4 NPT male fittings on each end of the hose. All of my compressor connections are also male, which means I have to get a female adapter for both ends. This is a good air hose reel at an affordable price. I put it next to the garage door so I could get air in without having to run an air hose from the back wall of the store to the door. I wouldn't recommend it for everyday use due to the flimsy wall mount and plastic case as I don't think it will stand up to that kind of use.
