Bad design. The teeth at the end of the plunger are too short and can't really hold the veggies in place, making it impossible to spiral all the veggies. Because the plunger doesn't go all the way down - it only spirals about 2/3 of the veg, then loses grip and ends up twisting a 3 inch end in a cone where the blade is. Use this 3 inch piece as the plunger will only go part way through the chute. Seems really stupid to construct it like that. I don't know what they were thinking. Too much effort and cost. I will return this one.
