The spinning combo wheels are very shiny metal and hard to read - I don't usually wear glasses but I have to put on magnifying glasses and go into bright light to see what I'm doing. There are other wheel locks here that have a matte finish and are probably easier to read. In terms of quality, the lock shaft does not go into the lock body when closing, only the tin pot. This lock can be picked with good pliers. However, the purpose of such a lock is not to detain thieves, but to force them to the next piece of luggage.
