Review on Farberware 5275229 Barbecue Double Burger by Cynthia Bennett

The press is badly formed, that's it. The cast iron handle sucks.

- Made in China - Doesn't say it's pre-tempered but any cast iron you should always top it up yourself Fairly heavy but lame manufacturing flaws make it less than useful. The design issue is also confusing. Cast iron handle. Oh well. Most of them made in the last 50 years have thick wooden handles. Much easier to use as it doesn't get hot. Easier to clean as it is not affected by spices. Seasoning the pen is also just stupid, then what you think it is becomes dirty. Production wise, her casting was far from perfect. There are a few holes on the bottom that are more difficult to clean. Food can get inside and you cannot clean the cast iron. At least not. The whole bottom is also completely raw. There is no reason or reason to leave this unfinished. Modern cast iron is much smoother (though not entirely, of course). I thought I originally used it for camping, but it's so stupid I don't want it.
