Have to confirm other reviews - this rug attracts fluff/hair/dirt/crumbs. My kitchen has black appliances and I chose a black rug to match. Carpet looks good when it's clean. I thought I would have to vacuum twice a week, but the carpet gets so caked with hair and dust that I often take the vacuum out every day. Now if you need daily cleaning supplies, this rug can easily meet your needs. However, I am not satisfied with such frequent use of the vacuum cleaner. If you have pets or small children I would strongly recommend considering a different color. I'm sure any color will be a magnet for lint/hair/dirt/crumbs, but a different color might better hide some of the offensive particles and not be such obvious evidence that dirt is floating around the house. Excellent quality carpet. He doesn't slip. It's a fantastic length and looks great in my kitchen. Be careful of the width you choose. I was hoping to find a rug that was 18-20 inches wide and 10 feet long, but I couldn't. Aside from being a bit wide and attracting dirt, I really like it.
