Installation was easy. The brackets attached to the hood could have been better shaped to prevent collision with the hood's painted metal. Already noticed a decrease in the stops for the full opening of the hood. I may need to find replacement stands to get everything working properly. They worked great for two weeks and now I have to lift the hood the last four inches to get it to the fully open position. Not a bad product. Good idea. Better than a hood stick. Just need better gas struts that are available. Measure and replace. Increases the actual cost to double the original cost.
