Looking at the picture of this on the items page it looks like a plastic box but I was surprised at the weight of this box and sure enough I opened it up this is one heavy duty beefy switch panel box! You could use this box to hold up other things in your vehicle if you really wanted to! It's literally that sturdy. the only downside to that is you would have to make sure the mounting surface could handle a few pounds to accommodate for rough riding conditions or you could install it resting up against something so it doesn't bounce itself off of the mounting surface when you are driving. The switches seem very high quality and have a very good tactical feedback to them. If you've ever used smaller switches you know that it's a pain sometimes and you're always double checking them to see if they are off and when you do turn them on they're hard to pinpoint while you are driving; not the case with these at all extremely easy control interface just mount it to where you have easy access to it and where they won't be flipped on from anything bumping into them hard. I cannot wait until I get the time to wire this box up this is going to be a nice install needless to say.5 stars and can easily recommend it if you are looking for quality and durability!
