Affordable, stylish replacement for standard halogen bulbs

I've wanted halogen bulbs for a long time but the prices of other options are crazy. Given the affordable price of this setup, I took the plunge. The packaging was great and the instructions are *almost* there - high quality paper, color printing, but the images are small and dirty, and there are a few instances of poor English and typos. Luckily, you don't need a lot of instructions because the installation is really easy. The included fuse tap was welcome but was missing (for me) a 5A fuse. The most difficult and time consuming part of the setup was getting the DRL wires neatly wired, and it wasn't that difficult either. CANBUS modules are included but in my case (2020 JT Sport) they are not needed. The headlights came pre-configured to aim fairly high, but luckily were designed for easy adjustment (can't say for many other much more expensive aftermarket LED headlights). In any case, this would be a HUGE improvement over the absolutely horrible OEM halogen headlights. But I've already replaced the OEM halogen bulbs with high quality LED "bulbs" so I can't make a direct comparison at the moment, but I know it's a massive improvement. These bulbs have the same or better brightness and cutoff compared to the halogen packaged LEDs I replaced, in addition to a nice styling upgrade. I can't speak to the cold weather/ice/snow performance of this kit for a few more months, but overall I'm quite happy with this setup at this price point. Recommended. Pros: Easy to install, easy to set up, affordable, stylish looks, HUGE improvement over factory halogen bulbs. Cons: I was missing a 5A fuse, the instructions could use some improvement (dirty pics, bad english, typos)

Pros
  • I'm holding my fists
Cons
  • Hard to say
